Well here we are on the threshhold of the Xmas season, whats everyone doing, what plans do you have, are you going anywhere to celebrate it or are you just having a quiet Xmas in with the folks, tell everyone on this thread.
I for one am just having a quiet one with the family as I normally do, with Helen working over Xmas especially Xmas day, I will have an unusual one as I will have to drive on xmas day so I will be dry, I it will be the first one where I cant have my usual drinking session while preparing lunch. We will be pulling out all the stops on Boxing Day though and I will be making merry then for sure.

Nice thread! We usually rotate Xmas with the meal either at my dads or at our home, Prezzys are divided to unwraping some at dads some at ours, Its all about the kids for us and spending quality time with my dad.

It will be me, Tracy and hubby on Christmas day, then over to my son Richard for Boxing Day and although the 27th is our Anniversary, we are saving it for the 29th so we can all get together for a meal. I love Christmas, especially putting up the decorations. Traditionally, Richard comes over and we spend a Sunday putting them up listening to Christmas music on full volume while Tracy dresses the tree. I always look forward to the Christmas shop, getting in nibbles and drink. Unfortunately this year, our family will be one less as our rabbit Cocoa passed away on Monday so we're a bit down in the dumps at the moment.

Wow nice work there Col and Eric, make me wish I had a porch to put one in. I,ll be getting my tree up possibly tonight, if not tomorrow. Mine is normally a victorian style, lots of reds and golds.

For years I used to alternate between having Christmas at my daughter's in Montgomery one year and living it up at GRaham's the next. But rising travel cost have put paid to that, so Son, prepare to be invaded again, lol.
