Whats your plan Tracy? Daft punk together at a group troop playing instruments.
I hope to order the electronic parts for this soon.
I need to find a local company who can chrome my parts. I got a tin of chrome metallic paint from Halfords last month, just didn't have that shine to it.
Chrome plating springs to mind.
Post more pics today

Nice one mate, What type of silver are you using to these parts, It would of been cool to see them metalized but i gather that technique would be expensive.

I'm using silver chrome metallic paint Colin. I'm looking into getting the parts chromed slowly. Just busy with the house at the moment. Suffering with hayfever this summer too. After your window cleaning expertise at the end of July Colin. Anyway. Painted up the fingers.

Not much update on this. Been doing other projects. Learning to get painting right, tricky process. Getting parts too. Anyway a bit of work, Getting the armour black glossed, sanding to a ultra smooth finish. When its ready I will be using Alclad 2 chrome paint along with a compressor.

Ordered a lot of components off ebay.co.uk I received my bluetooth board from amazon.co.uk a few days ago.. Its in anti-static packaging. I will open it up when I get my antis-static field service kit. You can also see one of the ear pucks with a mix of LED's. I chose red, purple, green, blue, orange, yellow. I have also gone along with soldering the red LED's in as well in the 8by8 grid array. The anodes are facing upwards whilst the cathodes are facing downwards. I also soldered in the capacitors and resistors into place. Again I have the IC's but waiting on my anti-static service kit which I will then soldered in. A mix of coloured pvc wires. Which I will be using to connect to the boards in series along with the outputs from the LED strips. I will be placing heatshrink over the wires to keep them tidy.

I have done most of the components onto the side bars. I chose diffuse rectangular LEDs to hopefully show more colour once complete. The straw hat and standard LEDs are clear to look at but light up the relevant colour in relation to the sidebars. Needs the IC to go in and wiring it all up together. Oops double post. I have completed most of the side bars. I decided to go for diffused rectangular LED's and coloured clear LED's. Hopefully show more the relevant colour when complete.
