It would help the clearance team enormously, if you would do a "work in progress" thread. This would not only help us, but could be of benefit with input from other members. You don't want you to spend ages on a costume, only to have it turned down rising from an issue with accuracy or materials.
There are plenty of people on here who will guide you along the way and are more than happy to offer help and advice, they might even be able to make something for you that you cannot get hold of, its always worth asking.
So, to make your clearance as painless as possible:
Plenty of "work in progress" pictures. Supply clearance photos that cover all the angles in a good light, with little or no distracting background. Photos of any accessories, like helmets, gloves, boots, weapons etc., You can never supply enough reference pictures and screen shots, we want to see them all!!
We would like your costumes to step out of the monitor and onto the streets.
There is a LOT of talent in this club - make it so

I second this, as i had talks with Chris and Tracy this weekend, we felt only fair to the clearance team if costumes could be logged to their build, it also offers the choice for any future members who may want to copy the build. Reference it essential to not only for the benefit of the clearance team but it also is a good talking point for all to witness. We also ask especially if your costume is of generic build to make detailed progress reports, as there is usually no screen accurate costume images, these costumes are not posted on the internet. It is important to team to have a step by step guide. We want these costumes to look like they have stepped out of the films in to your hands. Thank you!
