I like the one with better heads just above, though I think colin is right with the wings looking to batman, makes the logo look to big, but yeh if you bring the wings in a bit that would be perfect. Hey what about different colour dragon heads? (lol)

I am happy with this concept, I don't think i have seen anything similar out in the costuming world that resembles this design. I am liking the idea of open wings, Like open arm we welcome new members, with open wings feels along the same line.
The heads in a downward position are good as this represent a placid dragon, not an agressive dragon. Wings open would mean on merchandise like a mug, the wings would wrap around the mug. On the rear of say a casual T.shirt the wings would fill out the back more so then wings closed. There are soo many item of merchandise this would look more impressive to the eye, this is in my opinion.
Thoughts!

Colin, you are WAY too technical, has anyone actually seen a placid dragon??? When I have a decent block of time on the old computer thingy, I'll have a go and see what I can do about a badge design using the last drawing design.

Thanks very much for all the positive remarks, Colin I actually like your comments about the design I never thought of it that way and yes I think you are correct in every way. Chris, I have had so much trouble with this design that if you make it transparent , you get some noise around it, so I think it would be best to have it on either a white or silvery white background, preferably on a circle as I have tried different shapes and a circle seems to do best, I would also advise a nice thick border to the circle as it balances out the black of the logo.

And this is what the logo would look like if JJ Abrams designed it.
