It has long been my desire to redesign our club logo to something simpler and more easily printable and embroidable. Especially as the original logo was designed by a member who is no longer with the club, but held a sway about using the design. I have been working on a more graphic and therefore more modern take on the original logo and I would like your constructive criticism on the design and a vote of yes or no to look at replacing the original design for the new one.

I have always said that the current logo is too complicated to embroider and needs to be made simpler, but I think the heads are too abstract, they no longer look like dragons. But blocking the design like this would be easy to replicate.
So from me and Tracy is a no to this design, needs a bit of tweaking.

That's better maybe have the necks with a curle or twist in them like a snake

Nice suggestion Tom, but I,m trying to make the logo simpler and more compact so its easier to print or embroider

Liking it but still think a bit of tweak. Don't Dragons have more spikes on the neck a bit like a crocodile. Maybe a couple more spines? Not too sure on the wings either, look a bit like the Batman logo and slightly axe shaped. What about changing the wings? a bit narrower, more along the lines of our first logo?
I know this is going well off the design but what about a Logo similar to Tom Wykes sig pic, a side view with three heads, We are still young club and nothing is concrete in our insignia as of yet. Do the wings have to be in a closed position? Can a logo be of the wings open? or slightly open?
Hope i am not coming across too picky...
I don't know what programme to use to draw a logo!

Not picky at all Col, I want suggestions as it helps me with the design, brings new ideas to the fore. I will play with it and see what I can do, but I,m a bit restricted with the software I have so certain shapes are very difficult to create, thats why I made it fairly simple in design, plus we have the embroidability and printing factors to think about, but thanks for the input.

The tail should be more like a s shape. Give it a bit more depth

The heads are perfect, but I think we should have the folded wings back.
